چکیده
A model of elastic mechanical systems is presented in the form of a network of Constraint equations ezpressing the geometrical relations among component elements and their steadystate mechanical behavior. The model takes into account the nonlinear features of motor system geometry and is used to represent mechanical interactions with the environment as well as to derive appropriate patterns of control inputs given a wide variety of motor tasks. This approach can be applied to the analysis of biological motor systems.

Potentials of Evolving Linear Models in Tracking Control Design for Nonlinear Variable Structure Systems
Evolving models have found applications in many real world systems. In this paper, potentials of the Evolving Linear Models (ELMs) in tracking control design for nonlinear variable structure systems are introduced. At first, an ELM is introduced as a dynamic single input, single output (SISO) linear model whose parameters as well as dynamic orders of input and output signals can change through ...

Design, modeling, manufacturing and experimental analysis of a six degree freedom robot, suitable for industrial applications, has been described in this paper. The robot was designed on the assumption that, each joint has an independent DC motor actuator, with gear reduction and measuring sensor for angular joint position. Mechanical design of the robot was done using Mechanical Desktop and ma...
متن کاملA Physiologically Based, Multi-Scale Model of Skeletal Muscle Structure and Function
Models of skeletal muscle can be classified as phenomenological or biophysical. Phenomenological models predict the muscle's response to a specified input based on experimental measurements. Prominent phenomenological models are the Hill-type muscle models, which have been incorporated into rigid-body modeling frameworks, and three-dimensional continuum-mechanical models. Biophysically based mo...
متن کاملModel-based Approach for Multi-sensor Fault Identification in Power Plant Gas Turbines
In this paper, the multi-sensor fault diagnosis in the exhaust temperature sensors of a V94.2 heavy duty gas turbine is presented. A Laguerre network-based fuzzy modeling approach is presented to predict the output temperature of the gas turbine for sensor fault diagnosis. Due to the nonlinear dynamics of the gas turbine, in these models the Laguerre filter parts are related to the linear d...
